These are heavy-duty cast-iron G-clamps (C-clamps) sold in packs of four, used to fix the base plates of SO-ARM101 and other desktop robot arms to a desk edge so the arm cannot shift during calibration, teleoperation or dataset recording.

SO-ARM101 and other SO-101 arms are held to the desk with two G-clamps through the slots in the base plate; a wobbling base ruins calibration and datasets. These heavy-duty 2-inch clamps are the size Hiwonder ships with its kits, sold as a 4-pack for a leader + follower pair.

What can you use it for?

  • Clamping a leader + follower pair (two clamps per arm)
  • Fixing an overhead camera stand base or a work surface
  • General workbench and 3D-printer frame assembly

Who is it for?

Anyone who bought a DIY or servo-only arm kit, or lost the clamps from a boxed kit.

Compatibility

  • SO-ARM100 / SO-ARM101 base plates (2-inch clamps), thicker desks or NexArm bases (3-inch)
  • Desk edge thickness: up to 50 mm (2") or 86 mm (3")
