An endstop and cable management pack combines the mechanical limit switches that tell a machine where its axes are with the ties and adhesive bases used to route the wiring back to the controller. Both jobs happen at the same point in a build, which is why they are packed together here.

Fitting endstops and tidying the loom that comes with them are the same job, so this pack covers both. Ten TS-1D3 micro limit switches — SPDT copper contacts, 5 A at 250 V, 16 mm lever, three pins so you can wire normally-open or normally-closed — plus a hundred cable ties and a hundred adhesive bases to route the wiring back to the board without it catching on a moving axis.\n\nA three-axis machine needs three switches for homing and usually three more for hard limits; the rest go in the drawer for the next build. The adhesive bases stick to extrusion, sheet metal or a printed bracket, so you can pin a loom down without drilling.

What can you use it for?

  • Homing and hard limits on 3D printer X, Y and Z axes
  • CNC router, laser and plotter travel limits
  • Robot arm and linear actuator end-of-travel protection
  • Routing and anchoring looms along extrusion, sheet metal or printed brackets without drilling
  • Guard, lid and drawer interlocks on enclosures

Who is it for?

3D printer and CNC builders, makerspaces and robotics teams who go through endstops and cable ties in quantity and would rather buy both once than run out of either mid-build.

Compatibility

  • Controllers: Marlin, Klipper, GRBL, RepRap boards, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and PLC digital inputs
  • Switch wiring: three pins — COM, NO and NC — so one part serves either logic
  • Switch rating: 5 A at 250 V AC, copper contacts, CCC certified
  • Tie mounts: self-adhesive 20 × 20 mm bases; clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol before sticking

Frequently asked questions

How many endstops does a typical machine need?

Three for homing on a three-axis machine, and often three more if you also fit hard limits at the far end of travel. Ten covers a build with spares, which matters because levers are a wear part.

Should I wire them normally-open or normally-closed?

Normally-closed is safer for limits: the circuit is closed at rest and opens when tripped, so a broken wire also stops the machine. Use the COM and NC pins and set your firmware's endstop logic to match.

Will the adhesive mounts hold on aluminium extrusion?

Yes, provided the surface is clean — wipe with isopropyl alcohol and press firmly for a few seconds. On dusty, oily or textured 3D-printed surfaces the bond is weaker; screw the base down through its hole instead.

Are these the same switches as your 10-pack listing?

Yes, the same TS-1D3 16 mm lever switches. This pack adds the ties and mounts; buy the plain 10-pack if you only need switches.

Can I use these switches at 5 V logic levels?

Yes. The 5 A 250 V figure is the maximum AC contact rating; running a few milliamps at 3.3 or 5 V is well within it and is the normal endstop use case.
