This is a regulated 7.4 V (or 8.4 V) 3 A DC power adapter with a 5.5 × 2.1 mm barrel plug that replaces a 2S LiPo battery for bench-powering 7.4 V bus servos such as the Feetech STS3215-C001/C044/C046 used in SO-ARM101 leader arms, LeKiwi and OpenDuck builds.

A regulated 7.4 V (or 8.4 V) 3 A supply for the 7.4 V Feetech STS3215 servos used in SO-ARM101 leader arms, LeKiwi and OpenDuck builds. It replaces a 2S LiPo on the bench so you can run and calibrate servos all day from mains power. For 12 V servos and follower arms use a 12 V 5 A adapter instead.

What can you use it for?

  • Powering the 7.4 V leader arm of an SO-ARM101 / SO-101 pair
  • Bench testing and calibrating 7.4 V STS3215 servos before assembly
  • Running OpenDuck Mini or other 2S-servo robots from mains during development
  • 8.4 V version for projects that expect a fully charged 2S pack

Frequently asked questions

Which voltage do I need?

7.4 V for the 7.4 V STS3215 models and the SO-ARM101 leader arm; 8.4 V only if your controller expects a fully charged 2S pack. Never feed either to 12 V servos, and never feed 12 V to 7.4 V servos.

Is 3 A enough for six servos?

For a leader arm that is moved by hand, yes: the servos are mostly reading position. For a 7.4 V follower doing real lifting, use two adapters or a 5 A supply.

Does the plug fit my socket?

The cable ends in a two-flat-pin plug used in the US, Canada, Japan and China; input is 100–240 V so it works anywhere with a simple plug adapter.
