The RUITOOL 3D print finishing tool kit is a set of five hand tools designed for post-processing FDM and resin prints: removing tree and lattice supports, snipping sprues and rafts flush, reaching supports inside cavities, and trimming strings, seams and burrs, so models come off the printer clean without scars.

A purpose-made set of hand tools for cleaning up FDM and resin prints without damaging them: smooth-jaw flat pliers that pull supports cleanly, a bent-nose pair for supports hidden inside cavities, flush cutters that leave no stub, long needle-nose pliers for tight slots, and a swivel deburring knife for seams and strings. Kits come in a zip case that keeps the set together next to the printer; every tool is also sold on its own.

What can you use it for?

  • Removing supports from PLA, PETG, ABS and resin prints without gouging the surface
  • Cleaning up miniatures, cosplay props, functional parts and prototypes
  • Trimming brims, rafts, stringing and layer seams before painting
  • Print farms and classrooms that need a matched set of tools per printer
  • Resin printing stations where supports are dense and delicate

Who is it for?

FDM and resin printer owners, miniature painters, makerspaces and anyone who has ever cracked a print pulling supports off with ordinary pliers.

Compatibility

  • Materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU and cured resin
  • Printers: any FDM or resin printer; the tools are independent of brand
  • Storage: kit versions include a zip case with elastic loops; single tools ship without a case

Frequently asked questions

Why not use ordinary pliers or nail clippers?

Standard pliers have serrated jaws that bite into the model and leave marks, and nail clippers cannot reach inside cavities. These tools have smooth, polished jaws and shapes matched to how supports attach, so they grip the support and not the part.

Do they work on resin prints?

Yes. The flat-nose pliers and flush cutters are ideal for the fine supports on cured resin models; cut supports before final curing to reduce chipping.

What is the deburring knife for?

The swivel blade follows edges and holes to shave off strings, seams, elephant-foot flare and burrs in one pass, where sandpaper would round the edge.

Are the cutters truly flush?

Yes. The blade is ground flat on one face so a sprue or support can be cut level with the surface, leaving no stub to sand.

Can I buy just one tool?

Yes. Each of the five tools is available individually as a variant on this page; the kits add the zip case.
